After months of playing, and having fun with, Children’s Miracle Music, my son “got it” this morning.  Those were his words.  I asked, “What do you mean?”  He replied: “Well, Children’s Miracle Music game is supposed to teach us that chores are fun when you have the right attitude.  So that’s what I have done today, Dad, and I have only one thing left to do.”  He walked off with a triumphant look on his face.

Have you ever said to your kids, “Do you have ears?”  Well, I have.  I used to seriously wonder if I should take them to the doctor to see if they had some sort of a selective hearing disability.  Somehow their ears just turned off when I asked them to clean their rooms or to get ready to go because we had to leave in a few minutes.
